Golden Gear Winner!

Over the past few months, through the leadership of Dr. Katie Barry and Mrs. Erin Huizinga, we have applied as a site for the VC STEM Golden Gear Recognition Program. VC STEM seeks to recognize outstanding STEM programs and efforts serving learners in Ventura County. The Golden Gear Award was created to recognize innovative and impactful efforts. With the tremendous dedication and support of our MONARCHS team we successfully completed a Validation visit as part of the final phase of the Golden Gear Award recognition process.
RCHS was selected as being one of Ventura County STEM Network’s 2018 Golden Gear recipient. On May 30th, Principal Roger Adams, Dr. DeLeon, and Mrs. Huizinga attended the first annual STEM Summit sponsored by VC STEM network and CSUCI to receive its award! A STEMtastic Celebration will be held in the fall on September 20th!

Celebrating our first Senior Class!

On May 30th, seniors along with their families entered the Performing Arts Center to celebrate the many accomplishments they have earned.  Over $245,000 worth of scholarships were awarded to many students as well as honoring our top Scholars, Valedictorians, Seal of Bi-literacy recipients, Academy certifications and A-G qualifiers.
