English class studies Tennyson’s poem:

Students in Mrs. Dahl’s AP English Literature class studied Tennyson’s poem, “The Lady of Shalott.” Using the Question Formulation Technique (QFT), groups generated their own ideas for deeper inquiry into the text. Then, students determined the most effective format for presenting their findings. Some students used physical movement and dance, while others used metaphoric connections and symbolism to convey their learning. It was a fun and memorable way for students to interact with Victorian literature which might otherwise seem daunting.
