Weekly Update 11-16-2020

Good morning Monarchs,

We have hit the last week of the trimester and finals are here.  I hope all our students are studying and finishing the final portions of their work.  I understand this trimester has been a challenge, but I have seen our staff and students step up in incredible ways.  I have attached this week’s schedule again for your reference.  Here are this week’s updates:

Senior Meeting:  On Wednesday, November 18th at 5:00 PM my townhall meeting will be replaced with a senior information meeting.  We will review our plans for this year, the college application process and update our senior parents.  Hope to see everybody there!  The Meet code is meet.google.com/rbo-qokn-hef

Trimester 2 Agendas:  Trimester two agendas will be posted here.  Please be sure to check this page by November 30th to access information about each course and find the link to your Zoom or Meets.

School Site Council Meeting:  RCHS will hold it’s first School Site Council Meeting of the year on Wednesday, November 18th at 3:00 PM.  The meeting agenda is attached, we will review our School Plan for Student Achievement and talk about our plans to analyze the needs of the school.   The Meet code is meet.google.com/oak-frvj-ppp if you plan to attend.  Generally, meetings will be held the third Wednesday of every month at 3:00 PM.

Rancho Campana Lottery is Open:  The Rancho Campana freshman lottery is now open for applications.  Concurrently enrolled siblings MUST apply though they are guaranteed enrollment.   You may fill out an application here.  Additionally, I would encourage everybody to watch the student made promotional video here.  It’s another wonderful example of what makes Rancho Campana special. The lottery closes December 1st at 4:00 PM.

State Seal of Biliteracy:  If you believe you will qualify for a State Seal of Biliteracy please submit an application here.   Generally, a student would qualify if they have taken through the fourth year of a language or passed an AP exam.   If you think you will be eligible by the end of the year submit your application before February 19th.  See the flyer below for details.  Good luck!

Measure A Update:  The office lobby security enhancements are completed, relocateable classrooms for construction staging have been provided, additional security shades and tinting for all windows is complete, HVAC modernization is under construction and site utilities such as power, gas and fire alarm are reviewed with HVAC modernization

It’s a pleasure to serve the Rancho Campana Community!!! #Train2Reign

Sincerely,

Bryan Martin
