Weekly Update 4-29-2021

Good Morning Monarchs!!!

It is an honor to serve at Rancho Campana High School! Please view this week’s updates as we received exciting news:

CA Distinguished School Recognition:  This week RCHS was recognized as a California Distinguished School.  Only two high schools in Ventura County were given this honor and just over 200 middle and high schools statewide.  Schools are selected for the award based on performance and progress on state indicators specified on the California School Dashboard, the state’s accountability and continuous improvement system. Indicators include test scores, suspension rates, and conditions and climate. Elementary schools and middle and high schools are recognized in alternate years; therefore, awardees hold the title for two years.

Our students, staff and community make Rancho Campana the school it is.  I want to recognize the effort all stakeholders exert to make Rancho Campana an amazing, diverse school that embraces ingenuity, hard work and creativity.

District LCAP Input Meetings:  OUHSD will be hosting districtwide LCAP meetings looking for input from the community.   Tonight, students will participate, however we will have more meetings this year.  If you are interested in providing your input in the meeting as a community member, please email me and I will send you the zoom link and dates.  If you would like to provide input without attending, you can add your ideas to the Thought Exchange here: https://my.thoughtexchange.com/640883035

We appreciate your feedback!
