Weekly Update 10-18-2021

Good Afternoon Monarchs,

I hope everybody enjoyed their weekend.  Hopefully all our students are ready to tackle the last half of trimester one.

Here are this week’s updates:

Parent Interest Survey:  As RCHS develops Parent Engagement Evenings we are looking for feedback from the community.   Please fill out this survey to inform us about community interests and help us to create the best, most informative events possible.  Thank you in advance.

AP Exams:  AP Exams must be ordered in the month of October through Ms. Mulchay, our bookkeeper. Students have already been handed order forms by their AP teachers, that they will submit to the bookkeeper in the next few weeks. AP Exams are FREE, if students take the exam for the corresponding AP course that they are enrolled in. If they want to take an exam for a course they are not enrolled in, they will have to pay full price for that exam. Please see Ms. Mulchay for any orders and payments in the ASB window.

Keep Rancho Weird/Academic Decathlon Fundraiser:  Rancho Campana is a special place with a unique school culture that we all love! Now, you can show your Monarch pride AND support the RCHS Academic Decathlon team at the same time by ordering your very own “Keep Rancho Weird” t-shirt. Our shirts are available in unisex crewneck and ladies’ fitted V-neck styles. Order through the ASB window at lunch or nutrition every day this week. $15 payment due at time of order: cash, check, debit, or credit all accepted. Just over $5 of every purchased shirt goes to help cover the cost of curriculum and competition registration. Aca Deca thanks you for your support!

Rio Mesa Soccer Tryouts:  This October, Rio Mesa girls soccer will hold tryouts.  The dates are:  10/19 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, 10/20 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and 10/21 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  All tryouts will be held in the Rio Mesa stadium.  The athletic physical and packet must be done prior to trying out.

Coffee with the Principal:  Coffee with the principal will be held this Wednesday, October 20th at 8:30 AM in the College and Career Center.  Please stop by to have any questions answered and enjoy a donut with Mr. Martin.

PTA Reflections: Students, do you enjoy art, music, and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films or taking photos? Then join us and have fun unleashing your inner artist with PTA Reflections. This year’s theme is “I Will Change The World By…” Submissions due October 22. Learn more on our website: https://rcptsa.wordpress.com/programs-events/reflections/

I am proud to be a part of the Rancho Campana Community. Thank you everybody for your support.

Sincerely,

Bryan Martin
