Weekly Update 12-6-2021

Good Afternoon Monarchs,

Here are this week’s updates:

Active Assailant Training on November 9th:  RCHS will hold an annual active assailant training for students this Thursday, December 9th during tutorial.  I will send a more detailed email about this shortly.

Mobile Vaccination Clinic at RCHS:  On December 10th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM a mobile vaccination clinic will be at RCHS.  It is open to the public and students.  If a student wants a vaccination there are strict requirements, any student 15 or under must be accompanied with a parent and any student 16 and older requires consent from a parent with video confirmation.  Please see the flyers below for more detail.  There will be a second clinic for those wanting a second dose on January 7th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Rancho Campana Toy Drive:  This year RCHS in conjunction with RCMakes and Peer to Peer is participating in a Toy Drive.  The toys collected are given to foster children in Ventura County through Children’s Services Auxiliary.  You can help by donating a new unwrapped toy, game, or sports equipment for children aged 14 years and younger.

There are many locations around Camarillo to drop off the toys and RCHS is honored to be one of the locations again this year. The big white box is located in our office for toy drop off until 12/17.

Media Centers Opening Wednesday:  The C2 and C1 media centers at RCHS will open Wednesday for students.   Students may use these media centers before school, during dismissal and at nutrition and lunch.

Mr. Martin Office Hours Wednesday:  This Wednesday I will hold my monthly office hours at 5:00 PM.  The meeting is online and the meet code is:  meet.google.com/mid-ncbo-zrw .  Please join me for updates or if you have any questions regarding the school.

I am proud to be a part of the Rancho Campana Community.

Sincerely,

Bryan Martin
