Academy of Arts Media and Entertainment
build your future careeR
The goal of the Academy of Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) is to prepare students for college and careers, while letting students explore their career interests. There is a vital need for artists and the Academy of Arts, Media, and Entertainment creates a pathway to promote this field. There are three pathways within the Academy of Arts, Media, and Entertainment: Commercial Photography, Video and Film, and Theater Arts.
The AME staff has created opportunities for students to explore various art disciplines through academy curriculum, projects, work site tours, guest speakers, job shadow opportunities, opportunities with our business partners, and internships. These work-based learning events on campus help students gain critical career knowledge.
In addition to the student’s high school course work, students take art electives and complete work-based learning events. Students must complete course work and work-based learning events to complete the Academy of AME Graduation Requirements.
