World Language

The World Languages Department at RCHS is focused on providing the students with the opportunity to learn about world languages, and cultures to broaden cultural understanding, increase language proficiency, and enable students to communicate successfully in a pluralistic American society and abroad. The students at RCHS can take Spanish 1, 2, 3, and 4AP as well as German 1, 2, 3, and 4AP to expand their repertoire of languages and cultural awareness while meeting college entrance requirements. Students who take either Spanish 4AP or German 4AP are given the opportunity to take the college board advanced placement exam to earn college credits and apply for the bilingual seal of biliteracy.
